Work Experience
Minimum 1-2 years of clinical experience preferred; fresh GNM nurses may be considered
Job Purpose
This position's main role & responsibility is to provide safe, compassionate, and quality nursing care to patients in a NABH accredited nursing home, in accordance with doctors’ orders, nursing protocols, and NABH standards, ensuring patient safety and satisfaction.

Nursing Superintendent, Nursing In-charges, Doctors & Consultants, Patients and Attendants, Pharmacy, Laboratory, Infection Control Team, Quality & NABH Coordinators
Main Responsibility
Main job responsibilities of GNM Staff Nurse are as follows (but not limited to):
- Provide direct nursing care to patients as per care plan and doctors’ instructions.
- Monitor vital signs, patient condition, and report abnormalities promptly.
- Administer medications, IV fluids, injections, and blood transfusions as prescribed.
- Assist doctors during rounds, procedures, and emergencies.
- Maintain accurate nursing documentation, charts, and records as per NABH norms.
- Follow infection prevention and control practices, hand hygiene, and safety protocols.
- Ensure patient comfort, hygiene, nutrition, and mobility assistance.
- Educate patients and attendants regarding treatment, medications, and discharge instructions.
- Participate in emergency care, code blue, and mock drills as required.
- Handle biomedical waste segregation and disposal as per guidelines.
- Ensure proper handover during shift changes.
- Adhere strictly to hospital SOPs, policies, and ethical nursing practices.
